Bernard O'bien

Bernard O’bien is a seasoned technology executive, software architect, and entrepreneur with almost two decades of experience spanning enterprise software, financial services and fintech, telecommunications, and startups. He is the CEO of NthPoint Technologies, a consulting and workforce development company, where he leads partnerships and expansion efforts. Previously, he co-founded a fintech startup and worked in consulting, driving digital transformation initiatives.

Passionate about education and talent development, Bernard is a Visiting Lecturer at the Nigerian University of Technology & Management (NUTM), where he teaches postgraduate courses on computing and emerging technologies. He actively mentors and advises startups, leveraging his deep expertise in Software, data engineering, and business automations.

Currently at MIT Sloan as a Visiting Fellow and SFMBA Candidate, Bernard is exploring the intersection of AI, innovation, and business strategy. His time at MIT is further refining his approach to scaling technology-driven solutions in growth markets, particularly in Africa.

Beyond his professional work, Bernard is a fitness enthusiast who enjoys running, analyzing football strategies, and exploring historical documentaries.
