Kendall Ananyi
Kendall Ananyi is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Tizeti Networks, West Africa’s leading solar power fixed internet service provider, offering high-speed, unlimited Wi-Fi access to homes and businesses across Nigeria, Ghana, and Côte d’Ivoire. He has over 20 years experience in the telecommunications and information technology industries in Nigeria, Canada, and the United States.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, University of Benin, Nigeria and a Master’s degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Victoria, Canada. Kendall Ananyi has acquired extensive experience working with leading global organizations, including two AAA companies, Microsoft and ExxonMobil, as well as a Big Four Accounting firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
Tizeti pioneered the solar-powered base station model in Africa, and enables it to reduce carbon emissions and costs by up to 90% and 50% respectively, with cost-savings passed to residential and business customers. Its low-cost wireless approach is making it easier and cheaper for people to access the internet and connect to the digital economy.
Its commitment to long-term digital infrastructure development has made it become a key player in West Africa as it strives to help achieve national broadband goals. Tizeti has been recognized for its innovative practices and was 6th Most Innovative Company in Africa, in Fast Companies’ World’s Most Innovative Companies and Nigeria’s Internet Service Provider of the Year.
Kendall Ananyi is also an active Angel investor in numerous African startups including Paystack and Flutterwave.
